Rules for All Tournaments

All State and Federal laws and regulations will be observed. Any infraction of these laws and regulations will result in disqualification. It is the responsibility of the entrant to be familiar with these laws and regulations.

All participants MUST be present at the tournament meeting held prior to take off. No exceptions. All participants will be notified in advance of tournament meeting.

All boats and anglers must be at weigh-in at _________________________________ No snagging will be allowed. Fish must be caught using a handheld pole.

Fish must be caught on sporting tackle and be hooked and landed by the entrant only and can be caught from shore or boat.

Life vest must be available for each person in the boat.

All tournament boats must maintain a distance of 50 yards between each other. If fishing out of the boat, you must be within 150 feet of the boat.

A maximum of 5 fish per person will be weighed in, only one of which can be dead. No culling of fish at weigh-in. Once a fish has been weighed and recorded, it is part of your catch. You cannot replace it with a larger fish.

Largest fish will be included in the 5 that are weighed in.

All children 16 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult. Children under 16 will have their own bracket. With their own prizes.

Fish can only be caught by handheld pole method. No foul hooked fish will be accepted. A maximum of 2 rods per person will be allowed, or as State rules permit. However, you may have extra rods & reels in the boat.

Ties & disqualifications will be decided by the tournament committee.

No chumming. No fishing intentionally baited holes.

Any protests must be made within 30 minutes of weigh-in time.

The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,

I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,

I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Company immediately; and,

their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used for the activity ("Releasees"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
